

OVERVIEW
Tam Coc-Bich Dong is also called “Ha Long Bay on land”, or the “Vietnam’s second nicest grotto” (to Huong Tich) for its poetic and inspirational natural scenery. Located in the Ngu Nhac Son Mountains, Hoa Lu District, Ninh Binh Province, it is a grandiose complex of Bich Dong pagoda and Tam Coc grotto which is one among the 21 crucial tourism destinations of Vietnam
ININERARY
Depart at approximately 7.30am from your hotel in Hanoi. After 2hrs drive we arrive Ninh Binh Province. Our first visit is the former capital - Hoa Lu and the remains of Dinh and Le Kings’ temples. Proceed to Tam Coc tourist center for lunch. After lunch we get on small rowing boats to travel along the canals with local villages, passing the green fields and enjoying the so called 'Ha Long bay On Land', Go through 3 caves and then row back to boat quay.
Visit Bich Dong cave, some 2 km from Tam Coc by car, Take some steps to climb up the Ngu Hanh Son Mountain range, charmed by the marvelous scenery offered by the mountains, rivers and pagodas, the king conferred on Bich Dong the title "The second most beautiful grotto in Vietnam". Return to Ha Noi and arrive in Hanoi around 18:00pm.
